Recently I teamed up with Refinery 29 and Toni&Guy for their Hair Meet Wardrobe campaign. They choose a bunch of bloggers model hair styles using their Toni&Guy glamour products. My hairstyle was a low pony that wrapped in the back. I thought it was super cute and easy. For step by step instructions go to Refinery 29 and to buy any of the products used go here.

A few weeks ago I spent an afternoon with my friend Eden Grinshpan (follow her blog) cooking up a storm. She did most of the cooking and I did most of the eating, and took some photos. She whipped up this lamb shakshuka in no time and let me tell you it was amazing.
Four years ago I was introduced to shakshuka when I stayed at Eden’s apartment in the summer while I renovated my place. She woke me up one morning saying, “I just made some homemade tomato sauce, would you like me to make you some shakshuka?”. I mean, who makes from scratch tomato sauce before 9am? I had no idea what it was, but let me tell you it did not disappoint. This lamb version is a twist on the original dish but is equally as good. Head over to Eden’s blog to get the recipe.
I just got back from a week in Nicaragua, it was sunny everyday and hot as hell. I stepped off the plane in NYC and it was cold and rainy. Not the exactly a pleasant welcome.
Before I left for Nicaragua I purchased the perfect denim jacket from Zara. I cannot wait to wear it, I think it is going to be my go-to this spring. When I think of jean jackets, my bff comes to mind. When we were in junior high she showed up one day at school with a Miss Sixty knee length denim coat. Needless to say I was very jealous. Although I don’t think I would sport that one these days, I will always remember that denim jacket.
Last week I attended the Affordable Art Fair in NYC with a couple of friends. We wandered through the maze like fair checking out all the art from around the world. I noticed there were a bunch of artists that had huge prints of aerial beach shots. Lately I feel as if I’ve seen them everywhere, from Gray Malin to Max Wanger. I really love beach photography because it brings a sense of happiness to a room, like a vacation everyday.
